Fence and Deck Depot Privacy Fences

Fence and Deck Depot’s privacy fence uses nominal 8’ rails that are decorative in design and are manufactured with a slotted style to accept the pickets (skived) rather than a hand ripped 2x6. Our pickets are tongue-in-groove and narrow in width with an ornamental V- channel running vertically. This not only makes Fence and Deck Depot’s privacy fences more attractive, it also allows us to better follow the grade of the yard. In addition, our privacy fences are good-neighbor, appearing the same from both sides. All bottom rails are reinforced with a metal insert to prevent the section from sagging.  Our rails are inserted into the 5x5x108” pre-routed .250” or .150” posts for better raking (sloping) and durability than brackets. Fence and Deck Depot also goes the extra step by using a vertical U-channel between the outside pickets and posts of each section to further minimize the chance of light showing through the fence and, again, increase the strength of the section.
