The fence industry has lived by the motto, “the fence business would be great if it wasn’t for gates”… This is because fence professionals for years have been struggling to come up with a reliable method of constructing gates that will last. To this day, most companies in the vinyl fence business ‘screw and glue’ their gates together using plastic sockets to keep the gates square. Inevitably, the steel screws holding together these gates will either crack the gate sockets or start to strip out causing the gate to ‘sag’ and fail to open and close properly.

At Fence and Deck Depot, we use heat fusion welded gates (see photos) for all two rail gates-much like the corners of our top-of-the-line vinyl windows. This unique method ‘melts, or fuses’ the frame of the gate at the corners leaving no weak points and can simulate any fence section that we offer. This makes a Fence and Deck Depot welded gate functional for years to come. We believe so much in our welded gates that we offer a gate adjustment warranty for as long as you own your Fence and Deck Depot gate!
