Project Challenges
The customer had an old, cedar fence with stylish lattice at the top. The customer decided to upgrade the privacy and security of their yard by not only replacing the old fence but also enlarging the footprint of the yard that was surrounded by fencing. However, the customer also wanted to retain the unique aesthetics of his old fence. Further, part of the new fence would be in an area near the road where its height was restricted so that it would not block the view of on-coming drivers.
Project Solutions
Fence & Deck Depot designed a new, cedar fence that checked all the boxes of what the customer wanted to accomplish. We designed part of the fence to include a 6-foot tall fence capped by lattice. The lattice was fortified with framing to provide enhanced structure. We then designed a 4-foot tall picket fence for the area near the road. We recommended top cap and trim to provide the customer with the unique look he wanted for the entire fence.
