Enclosing the HVAC System with a Vinyl Fence
Project Challenges
The customer had an aging, unreliable fence surrounding their HVAC systems. Their fence footprint crossed multiple landscaping and concrete walkways. Furthermore, with multiple HVAC units protected by the fence a double-drive gate was necessary to allow for future maintenance on the HVAC system. This new fence provides safety and security for the system as well as to many passers-by, particularly children. The prior wood fence was also aging with weakening wood posts.
Project Solutions
A vinyl privacy-style fence with a lattice top was proposed to meet the customer’s needs. These needs included security, privacy and low maintenance. This fence design also matches a smaller fence on the campus, bringing uniformity to the complex. The new fence not only adds an aesthetical upgrade from the prior wood fence, but safely secures the HVAC system, providing safety to children and other passers-by.
